Getting Greenlight Competition Ready
When you're a mad keen (and competitive) fisherman, reliable gear can make or break your day on the water. For Dave Potter on Greenlight, an inconsistent transducer was causing headaches - sometimes working, sometimes not. Not ideal when you're trying to land a winning fish!
The HMB Marine Electrical team stepped in, with Ryan and Myles fixing the transducer and installing a new autopilot. But with marine electronics, the real test comes on the water.
During the sea trial, the guys confirmed both the transducer repairs and new autopilot were performing perfectly under real boating conditions. Timing was crucial - Dave needed everything working smoothly for the upcoming national fishing competition in Gisborne.
And that's exactly what was delivered.
