The successful candidate will get to work on premium boat brands, have flexible hours, and can pick between our Half Moon Bay or Tamaki Marina locations. PLUS they’ll train with Auckland’s leading marine electrical experts.

We are sorry to be bidding Chris farewell, as he has been an absolute asset to the team and we have really enjoyed having him as part HMB. Chris and his family are moving out of Auckland and we wish them well with the move and their new life outside the ‘big smoke’.

“I really enjoyed my time at HMB. I crossed over from working as a domestic/commercial electrician to marine. The skills I brought with me were appreciated and useful, but there was a bit to learn and HMB had a good learning culture, well supported by management and other team members. I really enjoyed developing new skills and extending my knowledge. Working on boats is certainly varied and interesting and being in the marine environment is pleasant most of the time. It’s a good team at HMB and around the marina and we had some fun. If we weren’t moving out of Auckland, I would definitely be staying at HMB Marine Electrical.”
